After adoption, it is crucial that children bond with their adoptive parents. For this reason, it is important that adopted children be held only by their parents so that a strong bond can be formed. We were the only ones who have held Dawson and met his needs for 2 weeks, and he clearly knows us as mommy and daddy
This past week, Dawson was able to finally be held by his extended family! It was so sweet to see the grandparents, aunts and uncles be able to enjoy him, and they obviously loved their time with him as well!
